Kobalt is one system for your clients, deals, projects and support. You shape it yourself, by hand or by asking in chat, and you hire AI agents that do the routine steps under strict access control.
A client, a deal, a task, a page: each one is a record with a type. Types carry fields and can build on each other. Because everything follows the same model, every screen, search, permission and agent works the same way on all of it.

“Add a renewal date to deals and remind the owner 30 days before.” The assistant shows the planned changes, and nothing happens until you approve.
Every change to every record is kept with who made it and when. Look back at any version, or undo a change.
Components are ready-made business areas. Turn one on and you get your own copy to change freely. They share one data model, so they work together without integrations.

An agent is an AI worker with a job description, a role and limits. It reacts to events or runs on a schedule, inside Kobalt, with the same rules as everyone else.
Onboarding agent · Agent“I’ll create 6 tasks in Acme onboarding and assign 3 to Dana. Approve?”
People and agents get roles. A role decides which records, fields and actions they can use, and nothing more.
Agents get short-lived, task-sized permissions. Every step they take is checked, and the risky ones wait for a person to approve.
See who or what changed a record, when and why. For agents, that includes a summary of their reasoning.
Kobalt is being built in the open, one small step at a time. The app is live and grows with every release.
